This Party Isn’t Over Yet – A TikiPod Update

beachparty

This past week was a rocky one for The TikiPod, but we want to let our listeners know what’s been happening and that we are not going anywhere! We appreciate our listeners here at The TikiPod and more and more of you have been tuning in. April was our biggest month ever and we appreciate that.

This is a time of big changes for small webcasters like The TikiPod and our provider has been trying to adjust to these changes.

The first effect that many listeners noticed was that we are no longer listed in the TuneIn directory. The good news is you can manually add our stream if you use that service (see below).

Next, our mobile app went down for a couple of days. Fortunately, that issue has been resolved and you can find out where to download our app from this link.

Most recently, our provider has blocked access in several countries including Canada and Japan, where we have a large number of listeners. I regret that at this time we do not have a permanent solution to this issue. However, I have been told that using the YourMuze.FM site does work. Here is a link to our stream. I invite our listeners from affected countries to check back for future announcements.

As I said, this has been a struggle for many small webcasters like The TikiPod, but we plan to continue to bring you our unique blend of island music so that you can get away to the island side of life. We will be adding new music and new artists right away. Listen for new music from Ron Bell as well as the Jumbo Shrimp Band later this week!

Instructions to add our stream to TuneIn:
You can add our stream back into the app by clicking “Add New Custom URL” and typing the following address: http://listen.radionomy.com/tikipod.m3u
